Overview

What is
ChirpBack?

ChirpBack is a customer feedback platform for SaaS teams that combines a feedback inbox, surveys, a product backlog, and changelog announcements in one tool, with AI for sentiment tagging, survey building, and reporting.

ChirpBack closes the feedback loop end to end: feedback collected in the inbox can be promoted to a backlog item, shipped, announced in the changelog, and then auto-notified back to the specific users who originally requested it (notifyRequesters) — without exporting data between separate tools.

Who it is for

The problem

Feedback lives everywhere.
So it lives nowhere.

Support tickets, app store reviews, sales calls, Slack threads, and a dozen forms in between. Teams collect it all and connect almost none of it — so decisions get made on whoever shouted loudest last week, and the people who took the time to write in never hear back.

The expensive part isn't the missing tool. It's the missing thread between the request, the work, and the reply.

The platform

One platform.
The whole loop.

Six modules — feedback, surveys, announcements, backlog, analytics and integrations — connected end to end so nothing has to be re-entered, re-tagged, or remembered.

How it works

Four steps that wire customer voice directly to shipped product.

And then back to the people who asked. That last step is the one every other stack leaves to a human who forgets.

01

Capture from everywhere

In-app widget, email-to-feedback, public boards, App Store and Google Play reviews, CSV imports, and the API. Surveys with 30+ question types and branching, hosted on your own domain.

The parts nobody
tells you about.

A portal your customers can actually visit, an inbox address you can forward support mail to, a reply thread on every request, and a record of who asked for what.

01

Customer portal

A branded public hub on your own domain where customers read the changelog, post to the feedback board, and follow what you are building.

Every project gets a portal. Choose which tabs appear and in what order — feedback board, changelog, or a custom page you point at any URL — then serve it on a ChirpBack address or map your own domain. It carries your logo and brand colour, and it is the one link you can give customers instead of asking them to file a ticket.

02

Email-to-feedback

Forward or auto-forward any support inbox to your project address and every message lands in the feedback inbox, threaded and attributed to the sender.

Each project has its own inbound address. Set your helpdesk to forward there, or CC it on replies, and ChirpBack parses the sender, subject, body, and attachments into a feedback item — tagged with AI sentiment and category like anything else. Nothing has to be re-typed, and the customer who wrote in stays attached to the request.

03

Two-way conversations

Reply to the person who left feedback from inside ChirpBack, and keep the whole thread attached to the request and the backlog item it became.

Feedback and survey responses both open a conversation thread. Ask a follow-up question, get the reproduction steps, tell them it shipped — without leaving the tool or losing the context. Internal notes stay internal; replies reach the customer by email and in-app.

04

Users & companies

A lightweight CRM that groups every piece of feedback by the person and the company it came from, so you can see what your biggest accounts are asking for.

Every event, feedback item, and survey answer is attributed to a user and, where you pass it, a company. Open a profile to see everything that person has said, or a company to see the whole account's requests, traits, and plan tier — so prioritisation can weigh who is asking, not just how many.

Questions

Common
questions.

What ChirpBack is, what it replaces, and how the loop actually closes.

What is ChirpBack?

ChirpBack is a customer feedback platform for SaaS teams that combines a feedback inbox, surveys, a product backlog, and changelog announcements in one tool. AI handles sentiment and category tagging on incoming feedback, drafts surveys from a plain-language goal, and generates reports. It is built so a single request can travel from collection to shipped announcement without leaving the platform.

What does ChirpBack replace?

ChirpBack replaces the usual stack of a feedback board, a separate survey tool, a changelog tool, and the spreadsheet used to track who asked for what. Teams typically run four to six separate products to cover feedback collection, NPS and CSAT surveys, roadmap communication, and release announcements; ChirpBack covers those in one platform with shared data between them.

How does ChirpBack close the feedback loop?

ChirpBack keeps the list of people who requested something attached to the work item itself. Feedback arrives in the inbox, gets promoted to a backlog task that retains its original requesters, and when that task ships, the announcement can auto-notify exactly those users through the notifyRequesters feature. No export, no manual cross-referencing, and no separate email list.

Does ChirpBack integrate with Jira and Linear?

Yes — ChirpBack has two-way sync with Jira, Linear, Asana, and Trello, so a backlog item moved in either system stays in step with the other. Jira is available from the Starter plan; the full set of 16 integrations — which also includes Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Intercom, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, App Store, Google Play, CSV import, and email forwarding — is on the Growth plan and above.

What kinds of surveys can ChirpBack run?

ChirpBack runs in-app and link-based surveys with more than 30 question types, and scores NPS, CSAT, and CES out of the box. Growth plans add branching logic, paths, quotas, and segment targeting, plus an AI survey builder that drafts a full survey from a plain-language description of what you want to learn.

Is ChirpBack suitable for small teams?

Yes. The Starter plan covers one project and two team members at $29 per month billed monthly, or $22 per month billed annually, and there is a free tier to start on with no credit card required. Small teams get the full feedback inbox with AI tagging, the backlog, surveys with NPS / CSAT / CES, and a public changelog on a chirpback.io subdomain.

Where does ChirpBack collect feedback from?

ChirpBack collects feedback from an in-app widget, a public feedback board where users can post and vote, email, and App Store and Google Play reviews. Everything lands in one inbox and is tagged by AI with sentiment and category as it arrives, so all sources are triaged in the same place.

Does ChirpBack support SSO and enterprise compliance?

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. That includes SSO through SAML, Okta, or Azure AD, plus audit logs, IP allow-listing, GDPR and CCPA compliance, a SOC 2-ready posture, and the option of a dedicated environment or regional hosting on request.
